How to use the fuel treatment?

Using Oxytane is simple! After purchasing a bottle from either one of our regional stockists or here at our official online store, just follow these steps:

  • Step 1

Find out what your vehicle’s maximum fuel tank capacity is. You can find this either in the car’s manual or by a quick Google search. Most small-to-medium sized cars are between 40-50L of fuel. Another way to check this is to use Parkers Guide online.

  • Step 2

Since the mixing ratio is 5000:1 (Diesel or Petrol to Oxytane) our 10ml bottle will suffice for most small-to-medium sized cars. If in doubt, simply use 10ml. You cannot overdose your engine, although we recommend that you do try to administer the correct amount as this will save you money on the cost of Oxytane.

  • Step 3

Break the seal on your bottle, push down to unscrew the child safe cap and squeeze directly into your fuel tank via your vehicles fuel cap. If you have purchased one of our larger multi use Oxytane bottles, 250ml or 1L – it would have come with a syringe. Simply measure the correct amount needed with the syringe and inject directly to the fuel tank in the same way via the fuel cap.

  • Step 4

WARNING: Oxytane is registered as a Hazardous and dangerous chemical. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and sources of ignition. Read and follow the safety information provided on the bottle. Be careful to not accidently drop our smaller sized bottles into your fuel tank! You may wish to wear gloves when adding Oxytane to avoid any possible contact with your skin. If you do get any on your skin – wash thoroughly with warm soapy water to remove any residue.

  • Step 5

Once the correct dosage has been added to your tank, simply fill up at your local fuel station.
